This is the first stanza drawing: "Colorful signs throughout the town announced a very special affair."
This one, of course has to have the color added to it, but I hope you can see the concept of the citizens of elephant town meeting with the mayor to discuss the upcoming elephant ball.
Hopefully I'll be able to get my Illustration Friday work up on Monday.

Love the first illustration - your elephants are charming..their positioning and movement are perfect. And the 2nd illo is going to be super with all of the characters crowding around.
