Thank You!

My bestest friend, mentor, and sister, Vanessa Brantley, has graciously honored me with this great award by our mutual kindred spirit, Bella Sinclair. I am so grateful to be counted among these women as a creative spirit. Bella, as you may know, suffered a terrible loss with the sudden death of her beloved husband earlier this year. I often think of her and her daughters and pray that they are well and standing strong in God through this difficult time.

Ms. Vanessa, it's hard to explain in words how much you mean to me, but I will try. At this juncture in my life and my creative career, it is no small feat to keep going through daily obstacles. Sometimes I want to throw up my hands and be done with the whole thing, but God always manages to bring the necessary encouragement and will to go on by placing jewels in my life. You are one of those jewels. So, I thank you for this prestigious award and as they say, "right back atcha, girlie!"

There are many I wish to pass this award on to and you pretty much covered the list Nessa. But as I continue to visit more children's artist blogs, I'm sure there will be many more deserving of this wonderful award.
