Inspired to See vs. Inspired to Move

Inspired to See: Inspired by your surroundings, the gifts, talents, and works of others, a color, a lyric to a song, a picture, a story, to see visions of your own creativity in your mind's eye.

Inspired to Move: Inspired by your surroundings, the gifts, talents, and works of others, a color, a lyric to a song, a picture, a story, to act upon the visions from your mind's eye, to move your hand, to pick up a pencil, a pen dipped in ink, a brush dipped in paint, to move your arm, to place a stroke upon a canvas, a swipe upon a sheet of paper, a word upon a page in a notebook, to expose the world to a talent it never knew existed.

Inspired to See vs. Inspired to Move...Which one are you?

HAPPY WEEKEND!

Voyager
Artist: Cheryl Lynn

Happy weekend everyone. So sorry I haven't posted for awhile, just trying to catch up on some financial situations and busy, busy, busy! But I'll be back next week, or possibly tomorrow, with some drawings and illustrations. I've been feeling quite creative and have a great deal rolling around in my head right now. So I try to write things down to hold on to them and hope that they will manifest the way that I see them in my mind.

Love you all and thank you so much for supporting me and visiting my little neck of the woods. You guys are great and a definite inspiration to me.

And once again, HAPPY WEEKEND!

IF-Fast Part 2

Bradley Duck was very proud of his new scuba gear. Now he'll be able to swim extremely FAST! Hehehe!

I know, I know. I've already posted for this theme. But Bradley sort of just popped into my head and so, here he is. Oh, and I know ducks don't really have teeth, but isn't he the cutest rare breed of duck you've ever seen...?

Peter Breese at the 4th Wall Gallery

My friend and fashion illustrator extraordinaire, Peter Breese is going to be featured at the 4th Wall Gallery in Dallas Texas on November 7th. Peter's work is both eclectic and edgy. His usage of line and color makes for sophisticated imagery; leaving just enough to the imagination, which engages the viewer in a visual call and response. Not only are we intrigued with the beautifully executed imagery but we are drawn into the white space that surrounds it.

Be sure to check out Peter's blog and his website, Peter Breese Illustrations, for more of his amazing work.

IF-Fast

Claire knew that she had to be FAST if she was going to get that dress at 50% off! HA!

My original idea for this theme was to do a illo of Aurellia flying fast on her imaginary friend, Dragonia. But I suddenly saw this illustration in my head and felt it would be more appropriate. Hope you enjoy it. Happy drawing ya'll!
